This Pulse Oximeter is a portable, compact, non-invasive, measuring tool to determine the amount of oxygen the body is carrying. Attaching painlessly to a fingertip, it sends two wavelengths of light through the finger to measure pulse rate and how much oxygen is in the system. Simple to use, just press one button to “wake” the unit and move it into measurement mode. Results are shown on a high brightness LED display. The device features a low battery indicator and will automatically shut off after 8 minutes of inactivity. Compace and portable, the Pulse Oximeter is easy to store and can travel in a purse or pocket. Comes complete with the Oximter, a lanyard, two AAA batteries and an illustrated instruction guide. Suitable and accurate for both adult and pediatric use. Sturdy enough for hospitals and clinics as well as for in-home patients. Please note, it is not intended for continuous monitoring. The pulse oximeter won’t require routine calibration for maintenance other than the occasional replacement of batteries. Prior and after each use, wipe down the silicone area that fingers come in contact with inside the unit with 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).
