Unlike other contracture boots, AliMed’s MultiBoot X-Cel has smooth, rounded edges on all contact surfaces no rough knobs to tear fragile skin. Anti-rotation bar and attachment knob are also smooth, reducing the risk of skin tear when patients cross their legs. Transfers and walking without the included outsole are safer than with other contracture boots. Bottom weight-bearing surface is flat with or without the outsole-no wobbly knobs to stand on or slip on. Broad rubber outsole securely attaches in flat clip mount and features aggressive nonskid surface for extra stability. Twist resistance toe plate protector locks in place for greater safety during ambulation. Synthetic fleece liner is generously cut to offer comfort as well as maximum foot and ankle coverage and protection. Includes outsole, toe protector, toe plate, and anti-rotation bar.
